YoungDaphThe extra grip can really beat up your transmission, but to each their own. I have really good 4wd and between that and not wanting to put any un-needed wear on my car I chose studless. Plus didn't want to pay even more.
Hmm I think whoever told you that was misguided, there really isn't a correlation between grip with tires and transmission strain unless you're launching a car from 5k rpm on dry pavement.
But good on ya for getting winter tires even with 4wd, too many people are like " psh I dont need winter tires I have a Jeep" and then plow into a parked car because they cant stop
DrZoidbergHopefully this fixes my random crashes and kernel panics. Assuming it's a ram issue since there's no consistency among any of the panic reports and I know it's not hard drive related.
You're changing ram to solve a possible memory problem without identifying the problem? Why not run a memtest from a live cd/usb first so you know it's actually the memory?

I ran a very long memtest a while ago. While it turned up no problems, I can't see what else would cause random crashing of programs and kernel panics with no consistency among the reports. I put in a solid state drive recently, so the hard drive wasn't the issue. Could be the motherboard or something too. Pretty sure it's not a software issue since I've had this issue since I got the thing.
It's also an old machine and the ram was 22 dollars, so I'm not out a ton of money if this doesn't fix it. It's just 4gb, same as stock, since the ram is probably not what would bottleneck this machine. If this doesn't fix it then it's not a huge deal. I'm not going to put any more money into it.

I'd be doubtful that it's the ram if the memtest is clear. If it's a laptop then it's unlikely there's anything you can do otherwise. Might be interesting to know if the problems are kernal specific, try making a small partition and installing linux with linux-crashdump. The dumps from linux are generally far more detailed than the ones provided by Windows or OSX.
That said, if this is a hardware defect on an old laptop it's unlikely you can do anything about it.
Oh! And this! New tool for work.
(Which I may or may have not already cut my fingers on the saw with.)
Along with that
For my girlfriend.
Along with a very overdue tune up for my park skis (rarely use them). But now I'll be using them more because I am moving to Lake Louise, and they have an amazing park.
Bit of an impulse buy but I've been needing a new Bluetooth speaker since I spilled coffee on my old one and it shorted so I'm not mad. Kickass speaker. Plus some new shoes I don't feel like looking for a picture of along with random little shit. There goes almost all of my paycheck
Just drove 12 hours round-trip for a set of O.Z Racing Prodrive P1s with Goodyear F1 GSD3 for $300! The guy needed them gone quick I got first dibs with cash and boom...

Awesome knife, super useful. I've had mine for years no, no issues. I'm also lefty, so I like the lock on it, though I know that whole idea is that a pull lock is supposed to be safer.
Spagett+oh dude sick white out dispenser.
Here's mine:
Sick, I had the same one, that one is such a classic, still glad I upgraded to my new one though. I'm really looking forward to an efficient semester of editing.
.Rybak.It looks like a titleist. I had the same bag when I played for my highschool. Ended up having to give it back though because we couldn't keep them.
Sucks. I had a Callaway bag and it fell apart after 2 seasons
