I actually ordered one for my dirt jumper and two for the bike I am building. I love the way Avids have a soft feel to the brake, like you can get contact, but then still pull the lever more to get more power. And the carbon lever is amazing.
I dont know. If you feel a hayes brake, it feels like as soon as the pads contact the rotor, you hit a brick. Whereas with Avids, elixirs especially, you make contact, but you can still pull the lever. it feels spongier.
hahha yeah. I noticed it too. It's cool and all i just would feel kinda dumb wearing a shirt that says yacht club when I don't own a yacht or belong to a yacht club. Dat classy look is getting popular.
whether or not you're talking about the feel of the lever, you defined brake modulation in those past posts a lot more than you defined the feel of a brake lever. whatever makes you happy though.
