My dad knows a guy who is an FFL, so he was originally going to find one for me and "work with me on the price." Told him I wanted a full-size, and of course the first gun he shows up with is a commander. I said I didn't want it and he got kind of upset because he had to order and pay for the gun and now had to find a new buyer and blah blah blah. I dunno. Anyway, then he got significantly more flaky about the whole deal, said he was having trouble finding one, the ones that he could find were not exactly what I was looking for, too expensive, etc, etc, so I basically said forget about it.

I ended up going to a gun show on Saturday and spotted the Smith and Wesson in a case with a bunch of used Les Baers and Wilson Combats. I walked up and was like, "hey, it looks like all these guns are used, but I don't see a used tag on this one...?" The guy says, "nah, that one's brand new. Some guy ordered it from our shop and never came in to pick it up."

I asked him to hold it for a bit while I looked around, but I ran back after about 5 minutes because I was afraid he would sell it to someone else haha. Got it for $850. Now I've just been scouring Gun Broker for .45 ammo so I can go shoot it. At least it's pretty to look at.

945? Fantastic weapon if so, I used to live about 10 mins from the S&W Factory Shooting & Sports Center where you could fire any pistol they made except for the .460 and even all the PC guns.

That 945 was probably my favorite except MAYBE that 1911PD with the smaller scandium(sp?) frame although that scalloping did slice open my hand once pretty good.

This came in the mail today. I got it for free for switching banks. As an owner of a iPod shuffle, iPod touch (2nd gen), Macbook Pro, and iPhone 5, I am completely and utterly lost. I'll figure it out, but it is definitely not iOS.
