I collect vinyl and I'll be the first to admit that it's definitely not higher quality sound. A digital 320 track has a far more accurate sound than any vinyl does (even really nice 180-grams). Vinyl actually has a considerably lower sound quality, that "warm" sound people associate with vinyl (if you can even notice it) is actually just a less precise bass recording (due to the fact that pressing bass sounds onto vinyl is very technically difficult). I hate when people call themselves audiophiles, it's a ridiculously snobby term for someone who enjoys listening to music. If you're a real audiophile in the 21st century, you don't listen to your music on vinyl because it is nowhere near the highest quality available. That being said, I love collecting vinyl. It's awesome to be able to have such a beautiful looking physical copy of your favorite albums.

I really like vintage books. the smell when you flip through them, the yellowing of the pages, the inaccuracy of old printers in the type and lithographs, etc etc.

it all adds to the experience of the reading/listening, not necessarily always affecting the actual story/music.

Got these for 135 shipped-basically brand new. First new boots in 6 seasons-so psyched!
