Yeah, those things suck. I had one, then I bought one of those cassette adapters for like 5 bucks and it worked infinitely better. That thing is going to give you fits of iPod induced rage.

Does it have a cigarette lighter? They make USB adapters for those. Plug it in, and then BAM, you have yourself a USB. Should set you back no more than 10-15 bucks.

This is your other option, but I'd personally rather deal with one of those pos radio things rather than spend 100 bucks to get an audio jack installed... When I drove a car that didn't have a cassette adapter, I got tired of using those things so I burned all my favorite music onto several CDs and kept them in a CD pouch in my car. It wasn't too big of a pain in the ass, but yeah...

I had the same problem. After going through two things like that, I finally dropped like 100 and had a new deck installed with a USB and aux input. So much better than the shitty radio adapters

Shit sucks but its not horrible. When you start getting static just change the station by 1, not have it rescan for another station.
