Jesus Fucking Christ, give the kid a break. I agree that kids should support local stores but who knows maybe he just linked to Zumies because that was the best pic of his deck he could find? Or maybe he lives in the middle of nowhere and there aren't any local skate shops near him??

As for not buying Element or pro decks that's ridiculous. He's supporting skating by skating himself. I'm sure at some point you've bought gear from one of the 'sell out' companies (Alien, Blind, Toy Machine, Spitfire, Enjoi, DC, Girl, World Industries, Vans, Independent, Plan B, Powell...the list goes on and on). ummmm i'm not lying to you? i only wear mine when i go climbing, and even then i only wear it when i belay. i prefer not to get fried on my neck and face when i'm standing around for a long time.

Damn right son. I ride for my shop which gives me decks. If I don't ride theirs I ride companies from small distributers or from trusted companies that are run by the actual skateboarders... that don't get their boards made in china.

like thomas said it will outlast this bike (by bike i mean frame) and likely several to follow. not only that but the bearing seem to stay sealed on Kings longer than every other headset i've ever used. also i have matching King hubs and seat post collar because obviously looks and color coordination is an important factor when building a bike.

Nice knife. I really like the Shun Classic line and have three - a paring knife, an 8' chef's knife, and a 6' multi-purpose knife. I would love to add to the collection (6' chef's knife, etc etc), but those three do pretty much everything I need. They're a solid step above Wustof, but unfortunately a step above in price as well. Their grip is nice, but only works for right-handed people. They do have a left-handed model. Again, nice choice.

I'm absolutely in love with their classic series. I also had the set but some idiot lost my chefs at an event...hence this 8" hollow to replace it. I also have the 6" boning knife (best knife in my kit by far, I can get this thing even sharper than a ceramic blade) bread knife and the veg knife.
