As a guy who buys shirts that say supreme on them, I can offer some insight to their appeal. Supreme represents more than itself as a brand, if you've seen their t-shirts, and most of their clothing, you'll notice that the majority of their designs are borrowed from other recognizable logos and classic articles of clothing. Collabs with artists and musicians are another part of the appeal, they appreciate cultures outside of their own bring them together under the name supreme. Not only that but their clothing is quality and fits my style well.

I'll probably grow out of it eventually, but for now, I'm enjoying supporting a brand that continues to introduce me to the things they consider "supreme" and also looks and wears well.

Yeah I get that. I guess the only way to put it is with that stuff, it's not really about the clothes (because cmon there's nothing really interesting about a standard cut t shirt), the clothes are just a symbol for something else. Which anyone can relate to, I mean the only logo tees I still wear are my Joystick ones because I really like where that company came from.

You've probably heard this plenty of times, but it is truly essential with raw selvedge denim. When it starts to smell like shit, keep on wearing them, and don't soak/wash em for at least four months.

Uh Grey Goose is a marketing ploy invented by a guy in Florida yet people think it's fancy and French. There is nothing artisanal about it, no particularly skillful craftsman behind the scene, no special recipe, and no years of experience / historical backstory. It is a brand composed completely, 100% of advertising and hype. Read this.

How you dress has nothing to do with being a douchebag. What exactly is dressing "ivy" though? Like Polo/Lacoste, Topsiders, oxfords, sweaters, blazers, etc? If so, that's pretty much all I wear, so I hope I'm not a douchebag...

ya, anyone can dress that way. being well put together is what makes the difference. do you know what dictates the color of your belt? fit of a polo shirt? stuff like that.

A belt should compliment your shoes, it doesnt have to match. Idk anything about polo fits, I dont wear them.

Except I do self examine and now that what I wear is crummy t-shirts and jeans. At least I don't own a jacket that greasers and motorcycle riders wear when I may or may not own one myself.

I don't know how many graff buffs are checkin this thread, but oinkartltd.com has the best bulk deals. Can't beat $10 flat rate shipping. If you buy 5 cans it's $10, if you buy 150 cans it's still $10.

They are optimized for input/output, so they are great for standalone interactive art. But really they can be used for almost anything. First project is going to be a homemade MIDI controller. Pretty stoked.
