gnc is having a great deal on all protein with BOGO 50% off, i picked up gnc raw re-grow. it already has creatine mixed in and it was on an introductory price which is why I bought it. It is by far the best tasting protein mix I have had and i have seen some great gains in my maxes. at least 20 pounds on each so far and I am not even halfway through the jug.
Yeah, GNC is usually my go to place. But I had a 40% off at Vitamin World, so I picked that up today. I just ran out of protein a couple days ago. Plus, I got another coupon today for a BOGO free next time I'm in.
I'm not trying to start a massive shitstorm here.. But creatine doesn't do a whole lot.. at all really. The cells in your body can only hold a tiny tiny amount that is used in the ATP-CP energy system which is used up in like the first 3 seconds of exercise. Now i'm sure you know that but what i'm trying to say is that creatine isn't able to be absorbed into these cells because any amount of decent rest (good night sleep for example) and a meal and these stores of creatine are already at there maximum level. Now i'm not saying it's bad for you haha just that's what I've been taught and researched about creatine.
This isn't the right forum to debate this, but creatine is far and away one of the most researched supplements, and there's DEFINITELY a reason that professional athletes and teams buy the stuff by the crate. If anyone would know and use it, it's the people who's careers depend on the physical fitness of their bodies.
just like jblaski said, this probably isnt the right place. if you want to make a thread ill happily talk about it. but like I said earlier creatine gets a really bad rap. you need to make sure you get a reliable source. I think it is working in a positive way for me and I have not seen any stiffest.
@aiden-g: I am going to guess that his diet was just horribly wrong, he could have been taking to much. I get 10g of creatine per day, I do not go through the loading phase which is where it seems where people have problems because they are taking in to much creatine.
