Janoskis aren't that bad to skate in my opinion, they take a beating initialaly but after that not much changes just make sure you have extra laces and shoe goo haha

Janoski's are hands down, one of the best shoes on the market to skate in. I skate every pair I own after wearing them for awhile and they last me weeks-months longer than any other shoe I've ever had. Plus the pair he bought are really sought after so I see no reason why not to skate in those.
