i realize that but i want to start at 1 inch not 2 inch, 2 inch isn't really "slacklining" because there is so little slack, so yea i wanted to start with 1 inch
i hate to admit it.. but urban. i was in there getting a snapback for my brother as a late birthday present and i noticed that all clearance footwear was 50% off sale prices. these were 9.99/2. they didn't have too much in my size
this is the second time i've paid next to nothing for shoes in the past two weeks
thanks man, looking forward to trying it out. I've had an ultralight stove before (one of the little ones that screws on top of the small butane tanks) but it was a tad small for my liking. have you used the whisperlight before?
I've used that exact stove and setup before. It is eficient, but heavy. I backpacked a few hundred miles with it, then ditched it for an Optimus Crux Lite. If car camping, a nice Coleman two burner is nice. If backpacking, go lighter. If you are cooking for several people, then it is a decent option. It is also more reliable in an alpine environment, where temperatures can be extremely cold. The ability to use multiple different types of fuel is nice. In the developing world this can actually be a necessity. Some of the alternative fuels burn very dirty and smelly, just a warning.
Love the Optimus Crux Lite. Actually purchased a replacement recently, as a friend tried to boil water in a pot that had a plastic lid on the bottom. The plastic melted, ruining the stove. Paired with a MSR Titan titanium pot, it is the perfect backpacking stove.
I have the dragonfly, which is basically a whisperlite with a simmer knob. Fkn love that thing. It's loud as fuck and takes up a little bit of room but hot damn it is great for boiling water and I've even seared and cooked steaks on mine. Just be careful when cooking light stuff on it like pancakes and such. They'll go up in smoke if you look away.
