As just a coat, only get it if it's black.

I'm not a park rat. I want a lightweight layer to add under a shell when I'm in the BC. Between this and a patagonia nano puff, which is this color unfortunately.

get the patagonia, way better "brand" than oakley imo.

that jacket in particular is super nice, my gf and my parents all have one, super useful for what ur describing, the pefect layering piece. i swear it weighs as much as a piece of paper.
