Glass lenses my friend, significantly more scratch resistant than that shitty polycarbonate. Now don't get me wrong polycarbonate has it's place (ie. action sports where there is a chance of high impact.) Glass lenses just tend to be much higher optical quality. Also, shwood uses Carl Zeiss glass lenses (Carl Zeiss is known for making high end camera lenses, as well as microscope, telescopes, pretty much any kind of scope, including the glass in rifle scopes) so you know the quality in the lenses are absolutely impeccable.
