one time I landed so hard on my butt that I peed a little.. luckily thats the worst ive had to suffer. Sucked skiing the rest of they day with peepee pants tho

Good Idea.

Anyways. Broken Collar bone 5 weeks. Seperated shoulder, bout 4 weeks. Dislocated shoulder, couple days. torn rotator still fucked up. Sprained wrist 2 weeks. broken nose, who knows. and broken goggles, still broken.

concussion with a dislocated pelvis and a broken wrist. Actually rode the next weekend. Just not too hard

i got a broken arm my first time, although i hadn't actually done more than put the skis on
i also seriously screwed my shoulder up one. it was fine while i was skiing but i couldnt lift my arm high enough to reach the door knob back at the hotel. i then made it 1000X worse doing thow-ins at my soccer game the next weekend (we had no subs and a high pain tolerance means i have a habit of ignoring injuries). never got it checked out but i couldn't do a pushup let alone my weight training for track for a couple of months

Torn ACL - 100% torn through
Torn MCL - 50% torn through

6 months of crutches if I remember correctly. 13 total months of not being able to jog or run at all on that leg...including all the rehab.

Tib/ Fib, Spiral fracture of the tibia and just cracked the fibula, i was spinning a 3 in like 8th grade and my leg stopped real quick and my body kept going, and that was in the begining of january. Life sucked that year....

concussion, seizure, broken nose, 20 stitches on lip, 3 stitches inside nostril, bit a hole all the way through my tongue, and ripped my bottom lip off gums.

my toenail fell off one season from some serious toe bang.
WORST pain ever, sounds stupid but it seriously hurts when you're done skiing.

That injury isnt from skiing but it hurts a bunch everyday I ski.
I also dislocated my right hip last year , rite before rails to riches.
Got a couple of minor surgerys on my back.
Lots of concussion, bruises. Also injured my knee last weekend... WHEWClick for larger image

black'd out from slipping out a 2 onto a down bar getting my face on it took about an hour break then got it been skiing 15 out of my 16 years haven't broken anything and rarely have shin bang and its not bad when i do

Ahhhhhh god that's awful... I don't even want to think about that, made me feel sick to my stomach... that's terrible, hope everything's okay now tho?

I think my worst was over-shooting a small-ish jump and doing a knee to face (amazingly I hit right above my kneecap on my thigh with my teeth causing severe bruising/welt but nothing else), minor concussion one time my first season.

i shattered my kneecap into like 8 pieces then i got surgery. and then the doctor cleared me for lacrosse and while playing lacrosse i rebroke my knee and broke one of the titanium screws they put in. that kinda screwed my summer. but now its all good and i will have a broken screw in my knee for the rest of my life

My ski cut me across my eye and nose broke my nose and gave me a concusion. My googles saved me alot though

Overshot a 40 footer by about 40 feet. Broke my 3rd and 4th lumbar. Three breaks total. Had to wear a back brace for a year, and it still gets sore as balls from certain stuff.

i broke my heel into 3 pieces along with the bottom of my tibia and one other bone in my foot. hurt so bad when my boot came off and all the blood rushed back to it.

I popped my shoulder out of place and then it kept happening and in the end i had a torn labrum.i was still able to ride, but if i fell on it it would pop out. it sucked i had surgery and June and i am still in PT right now i will be until december but look at the timing right when my home hill should be open!

Two were cracks and one was a full break. Pretty scary stuff. We're gonna be old men by the time we're 26 haha.

Jeez that's fucked up. Must have been really unnerving to say the least. After a really hard workout or a hard day of skiing mine stiffens up pretty bad, and then the next morning I have to stretch it out good. I get muscle spasms really easily there now, but other than that I've been pretty lucky with recovery.

I've had shoulder surgery and the whole nine yards, but nothing is scarier than a back injury.

broke my wrist..overshot a jump by like 35ft....went to ski patrol they said it was fine..but it hurt like shitt...i used it unwillingly...parents made me..went to the doctors 6 months later for a checkup ended up getting an xray of my hand for growth...and ended up it was broken before...fuckin ski patrol had no clue..

Back injuries suck because the back actually holds like everything up together.
To me painkillers are the best ! addicting tho. But I also get T.e.n.s theraphy, they just stimulate your back with eletricity to help the blood to circulate normally, really help. I also get cortisone shots, they are sooooo goood ! damn it feels good after those haha. Constent back pain in anyway though ! life has to suck , but hey , were not dying

I always seems to get drawn to and post in these since I have a pretty good story, which a lot have probably heard.

Basically I landed in between the two jumps on a channel gap set up. I thought I was pretty decent at first, but I knew I had to of broken my leg. Well I got helicoptered out. And I spend 2+ months in the hospital. I completely shattered my right tibia, tibia plateau, as well as my knee and knee joint. I just had my 14th procedure last Monday. I have 5 rods/plates in my leg as well as 21 screws. I have no feeling or movement mid-shin down, so my foot + ankle just sort of hang there. I suppose you can say it's paralyzed. No skiing this season, and who knows about future ones still at this point. It's been a super rough journey but its getting better, it's just taking longer than I would hope for.
