I did a search but didnt really find what i was looking for. Does anyone do yoga on here and if so what exactly is it do you recomend it! Im really interested in the spiritual and tranquility of it plz help?

yogas great, especially for skiing, its awesome to improve flexibility, and give you core strength, i dont do it very often at all, but ive done it a few times and its awesome, its great for your mind too, when your done, youll feel so relaed in every way. but ye the best way to do it is to go to a class, its real cheap at the ymca, theres videos, but i dont imagine that would work very well, because in a classroom the teacher kinda person can help you out if your not doing something right

I take yoga usually twice a week at my local gym, and i really like it. At first it's really wierd, yet once you have your breathing down then your pretty much set. The instructor gives you a set of different poses, which you do all in a row for about a half an hour, so it's actually pretty exhausting. All yoga classes are different, but you should really check it out, it makes you way more flexible! All you need is a yoga mat (it's a special mat that sticks to the floor and also helps you to stablize yourself while you are doing the poses).

i have yoga/ pilates tapes and I love them cuz I don't have to make a fool of myself in front of a bunch of other people... but I still get the opportunity to laugh at myself... good times it is... I like warrior and exhalted warrior...

I used to do a lot of yoga when I was in this shitty hippie cult, it was really fun. I never go anymore though because all the nearby classes are at like 4 am.

ive gone to a couple yoga class dealies that my mom has gone to and suggested... they were good, good stretching, core, good breathing concepts... no reason not to do it besides lack of time

I'm addicted to bikram yoga. It's yoga for 1.5 hrs in a really really hot room. like 110 degrees F. at first I hated it, but had to go for training, but now I love it. I feel so relaxed and mellow right after, and then I get tons of energy. it's pretty cool, I think everyone try it. it's hard at first but after a few times you'll get better and enjoy it.

I dunno, I live in vancouver and people here get obsessed with random stuff, yoga being one of them. so there are lots of places that do it here, but probably less in other cities.

Yea, I'm giving yoga a shot this winter. my travel agent said it's a gold mine for hot women. which is convenient cuz I need to work on my flexibility anyway in order to clear the hurldes.
