i disagree. i found that Revolver and Eye Trip were kind of a let down, although they definitely are extremely good movies. The way i see it impressed me; it was diverse, had some great shots, good soundtrack and i wasnt bored for a second watching it. if you havent seen it, youre missing out.

I was told they were using ContourHD's. Several people were able to confirm it in another thread.

And yes, this movie is incredible.

Sean P domination
Arne/Ingrid segment
Alyeska (Gus, Bobby, Russ)
Cody Townsend
Colby's segment was legitimately funny

Interviews were awesome, helped develop the overall story line, telling each skier's story in a unique way and did not feel forced. Great flow from one segment to the next.

Yeah I forgot to mention Kaj and his buddy's seg (was it Permin? I forget). Crazy shit. Amazing to see how those airbags work.

Permin has some insane lines in MSP this year.

Glad to hear so much stoke about the flick, but watch out--I think it's illegal to give MSP too many props here.

As far as the helmet cams, they are actually Sony cams (I'm not exactly sure what the model is off the top of my head). They are more of a hassle to use than GoPros or Contours, but I think it's worth it in the end, because the image quality is pretty insane. Stoked to see people noticed.

Have to be honest, I wasn't personally that stoked on the last 2 movies but this year you guys murdered it. Absolutely blown away by the movie, I didn't say a single word throughout the whole thing because I was paying so much attention. Really impressed by every segment, and I liked that you managed to work in some story elements to it without making the whole thing drag on. Whatever you're doing, keep doing it! I'll be adding this year's movie to my growing MSP collection for sure.

waaayyyyy too long like most ski movies.
but definitely the best MSP movie in recent years.
only had a few gripes.
very confused why there were two Alyeksa segments on that jump, wayyyy to many shots from there.

and i can't remember what else, but there were only a few weird cuts in this movie as opposed to last year....

i'm not like the biggest powder fan so i got a little tired of it, even though it was super sick sometimes. but the alyeska park shoot definetaly going down in the history books, and colby's segments was the funniest shit ever. bobby, russ and gus killed it all the time both park shoots and BC. sean pettit slayed it pretty hard. to bad russ didnt land the triple, cus that was just crazy. stoked for bobbys two triples too

Actually it was.  It's plastered all over my dvd case of Idea, not to mention the film itself.  411 studios and poor boyz productions present an Eric Iberg film, directed by Eric Pollard and Eric Iberg.

Simple misunderstanding here. Idea was made by Nimbus, but Nimbus used PBP to distribute and market the film since they have those channels all figured out. So PBP kind of acts like the parent company there...
