I remember that issue and that article in particular. The JP writeup in there was excellent too.

The discussion has been the same, whether it was 2001 or 2010, the topic of style constantly keeps coming back up.

I *have* a helluva lot of old Freeze and Freeskier mags... if anyone remembers anything cool, I'll scan and post it if I have it. Might just post an entire scan of a Freeze so that these kids can see how epic it was.

I have that mag in pretty good condition at my parents house, which i actually read last week when i was home.

I think out the 18 youngsters that they listed, only Steele Spence, Jon Kozody, and Jon McMurry are not still shredding at a high level today
