Yes, it's legit i bought the k2 domains today and they're so dope I can't wait to ride em. I honestly don't care if you guys are gunna hate cause im STOKED. Any ideas on binders? fks maybe look jibs?

i was looking at the domains at my shop and i was talking to the guy there and i told him i'd be mounting them with fks 120's and he said they are a perfect match. and fks are the best bindings ever

Salomon sth 16 is good otherwise they suck.

Do not go for marker. FKS/pivot is a pretty legit choice.

How's the flex on them? I've heard people say they're soft and some people say they're stiff.

I'm putting STH 16 Drivers on mine, but you may not necessarily need that much of a binding, FKS 140s would be sick (my second pick), if you can find some older FKS 120s or 155s in the BST those would be dope too. I know Mr. Sean Jordan rides his with Griffons, so they can't be too bad, but I personally lost all trust in my griffons when I saw someones explode while he wasn't skiing too hard (but he might have been too big for them, so that's kinda a toss up) and I don't like to ride 12 DIN bindings personally. There are tons of very decent bindings out there, but seriously, it's way better to just spend more money and get really good bindings that will last a long time.

Well It's a medium flex i'd have to say. They are still decently flexible, but I'd say they are a stiffer than softer

It's a stiffer ski, but the rocker makes butters and presses easy so it can give it a softer feel. Basically, you get the best of both worlds, a nice solid platform to land on and a nice fun tip and tail to butter with.

i went to local shop and they have them in stock im so stoked to be getting them. i compared 171 length to 177 abangs and they were only like an inch shorter. ill be buying them this week i just need help with taking off my griffions off my abangs. any tips ? is theree anything that can go bad lol i wanna sell the abangs....lol

there are 2 models of the S4 - S4 and S4 Jib - the Jib is rockered the other isn't.

I had them last year, a really good binding, could use a bit more metal, but still really durable and not that heavy at all.

binding weight really doesnt matter too much, since it is so close to you it doesn't slow your spin down, but ski swing weight does.  The fks's worth getting are all metal, the 155 and the 185 (assmuming you ride within the dins)  because they are wayyy more durable than the crappy plastic 120's.  Another great option is the peak 15's.  Super solid binding, and imo almost as good as fks.  So pretty much if you hate popping out go with fks, but if you like to pop out during fairly bad falls, then peak.

go to your local ski swap and try and finsd some old race bindings, the z11's are garbage, never get them.  the mojos are okay if your under 150

Look around on the interet for some bindings.  You can find pretty cheap Mojo/Peak 15s and you can easily find FKS/Pivot for like 250 if you look.  Also, if 15 dins are too much for you, there is a new STH 12 Driver this year from Salomon so those would be a great choice if you're lightweight.

By the way, nice skis you got there.

i had the z 12's a while ago and the toe peice is the same between the two models.  The to has a plate that rotates and your boot will just kinda rotate out of the binding with the plate when you spin.  I guarantee you will hate the z11, it is total garbage.  get the mojos.
