Heel piece

so i have a pair of sas120 binders and unfortunately the screw head to adjust the din has been striped (dumbass friend) and its almost impossible to turn. its currently stuck on 11. should i leave it be or does anyone have an idea of something to use.

this may or may not work but:

go to a hardware store and ask about screwdriver heads or drill heads to deal with stripped screw heads. they dig into the metal so you can turn/remove stripped screws.

you could also just take it to you ski shop and see if they could do anything with it

do this on your own risk!

what i do with stripped screw-heads :

take a dremel tool and an attachment like this:

then take the stripped head and grind a new slot in it ....

then take a flat screwdriver and turn the screw with the new slot ...

^^dunno how the heelpiece is, but if the screw is embedded its obviously not an option.... just giving ideas :)

Snap a boot in and use an allen key not a screwdriver.

How the hell is it that striped...did he use a power drill to adjust the DIN??

Take it to a shop man, that's really your best option at this point in time.
