What Phone?

Joe Shuster Aye.

Well anyways, as I was making my way to class, a mentaly challenged pupil came up to me and noticed I was chewing gum. He in turn wanted a peice. I was already running late so I just said "Maybe later". Well that was obviously the answer he didn't want so he wouldn't leave until I gave up a peice of my Trident Layers. As i was opening my binder to get it, he got even closer to me and I kinda pulled a Neo and leaned backwards to get away. As I leaned away my phone slipped out and fell a good 4 1/2 feet to straight rocky cement. Pics or it didn't happen?

Well thankfully it works, but it's glitching up a storm.

The question is now, what phone should I get?

I'm thinking Droid or maybe another Storm since I was so used to it, but then again it is poop. Maybe the Evo? I dont know, what are some phones that you guys carry around and love?

Droid beats anything. Get a Droid. With that though, I definitely recommend the original or the 2, you gotta have the keyboard.

I have an Iphone 4 with a rubber case. I dropped it off my bunk bed the other day and it just bounced. No other problems. I never lose service because I have the case too.

If you're on verizon I would say get the HTC droid incredible or another Blackberry if you use BBM a lot.

HTC sense kicks a lot of ass.

Oh if I had insurance on this thing, I wouldn't even bother making a thread. I would just get another free one. And plus I wouldn't even have this if my dad hadn't gotten the buy one, get one free deal. He needed one for work and I needed a phone so you know it works.

If you had insurance you still would not get a free one.  You pay monthly for the insurance and still have a deductible for the new device.  Go with something that is Android based.  Android is a smooth OS.

Dont get the original droid, its old and outdated.
Get either the droid 2, droid x, or droid inc. Their all about the same specs only different form factors.

probably a phone that can make calls and send and receive a text message, so probably a free one with a 1 year plan? or get the phone that you think will impress more people even though you probably use less than 50% of its functionality.

Honestly you would be amazed what people would use once they have a phone that has options.  People are just not educated 100% on the phone they are sold.  Like I got my girl a iPhone, she had a slider cheap thing of some sort.  She now uses the calendar, Email, apps, music, etc...that's just my opinion.

they are honestly indestructible. ive fallen on rails and dropped it and stuff that would destroy any other phone and my Ericsson only has 2 scratches on the front

I don't know about you, but I could never have another phone that doesn't have email on it.  I thought I would hate it at first, but having my email come straight to my phone is the most amazing thing ever.

its not that it blows. but in comparison, yes it does actually blow.

comparing my X to the original droid is like comparing a toyota to a Porsche they both have wheels, and an engine.


OP get a droid. either the X droid 2 or the incredible.. knowing people that had the storm and switched to the droid, you wont be disappointed. unless you ride RIM's dick. lolololol

I thought "smartphones" were so stupid and super excessive. But after having an iPhone for only a few weeks I know that I'll never get a phone without those features again. It's so convenient.

I'm the opposite. I had a smartphone for a month, realized I don't want or need it at all, then downgraded to a free samsung convoy. All I care about is sending texts and calling people anyway.

i cant believe how popular droids are...
here in canada, montreal to be exact, i have the desire and ive only seen max 4 people in my life with android phones.

personally, id recommend a windows phone or an android handset. go with an iphone if you like them, but i know first hand that droids are amazing and i know windows phone is going to be big soon.

for verizon, id say droid x or wait a month or so for a new phone to come out... droid phones are released every week lol
