alright so im an eastcoast skier. 17 y/o and 5' 10" or so. mountains rarely have pow so il be skiing 99% granular groomers. As for what i ski, 99% park, and the occasional mountain run or family day trip. Last season i skied 2008/2009 suspects center mounted 161. they were alright in the least. but now are too small and i want to upgrade.
i want a LIGHT playful ski. symetrical. havnt decided on rocker or camber. (169cm-171cm) i dont want a huge ski just yet.
so this season now that i have a good paying job i plan on dropping a good month or so's pay on ski gear. (while hopefully still affording my car). ive had the hardest time finding a ski to fit my demand.
feel free to give me any insight to ANY ski at all. but here are a few ive been looking at.
-solomon 2012s: i havnt skied rocker, but from what ive read it sounds exactly what i want.
-moment reno jibs: again, rockered sound fun, a park ski. the works.
- 09 invaders: friend of mine may be selling his. kinda interested. but worried about drilling them a second time.
-volkl bridges: last years go for fairly cheap. look a lot like the invaders.
