Ok, well seeing as though the rest of the forums are corrupt, ill ask it here, are there any summer ski camps that offer a video production camp rather than skiing? and yes ive looked around the woodward one doesnt have the filming at copper, and the only other one i could find was high cascade and i dont board.......
hahaha ok so here's the deal with Windells Interships. This past summer I was the Photo Intern and they want kids who are 18 and have their own equipment. It's a lot of hard work and you do meet a bunch of people. Also they want a solid portfolio and knowing your way around programs. You have to be serious about what you do. I cannot tell you how many times I got asked for tips and just kids that wanted to know how I got the job. I must say it is unpaid and offers portfolio building and experience. feel free to ask if you have any other questions
Thanks for the answer, But yes the only problem is that im 15, but I do have my own setup(DVX and a Promaster Fluid head tripod) I also know my way around Final Cut Pro which is what i currently use, and Sony Vegas which is what i used to use
Yeah that is a problem. I was 17 but really close to 18 and they never asked but I had all the stuff I needed and my own transportation which was bonus. Just wait 3 years and build a solid portfolio. Oh and when applying for any job make sure to use correct grammar and spelling which it seems you have but I suggest being able to write like a normal human being. Just a tip
Yes, thanks dude, I think I'm just going to learn to snowboard enough this winter, so I can go to the Film Camp at High Cascade. Which Looks super fun.
