Someone whos played all the halos, and play cod 4/mw2..

Tell me, how is the online gameplay in reach. Is the campaign as good as the one in halo 3?

I haven't touched the campaign and I don't intend to (heard its short though) but I've been pleasantly surprised by the online multiplayer.

Really quick, balanced gameplay with some new awesome perks (jet packs, sprinting, shields, clones, etc).

Not as good as COD2 right when it came out, but very good none the less.

Yea I'm not sure if I should get this or not. I still rock MW2 on the reg, and it's alotta fun. I'd switch it up but have a feeling I'm too adapted to cod and would prob get easily annoyed.

if you can't beat a consol fps campaign in 1 sitting you probably suck at video games, i beat reach/3/2/1 all in 1 sitting each, its not hard

multiplayer is like halo 1, so really fucking good, campaign is like 2, and the graphics/sound is like 3/odst, aka best halo ever

I miss the battle rifle. The DMR/whatever the covenant equivilant is get pretty annoying. the voting is cool at first but you'll realize that swat becomes over played. ust got done playing, it can get pretty frustrating but the advancement is much better than halo 3.

1 Flag CTF blows now unless you are in with a good party. Fastest way to rank up is not through multi-player but either firefight (score attack), or with score on in the campaign with legendary and a butt load of skulls. It's crazy I've already seen kids at Lt. Col Grade 3. They have no life.

its sick man and once people start finding things they dont like bungie will be right on it, its super fun game one of the only games iv played in awhile that has lived up to mine and alot of people expectations, if you havnt bought it then get it man.

My roommate and I beat it in under 8 hours, not all in one sitting though, but close enough. Granted it was only on normal, but it was pretty simple.

also, the campaign took me about a week, playing like 2 hours each day.

i played heroic on solo, though, which i highly recommend to anyone who wants to have fun on the campaign, unless your really good

you can beat campaign on heroic, 2 people co-op in under 6 hours. i done did it to get the "complete 9 missions" weekly challenge the other day.

i like the daily and weekly challenges and the armory.

The birthday one is really funny, but its going to get annoying fast.  More people are starting to get it now and every time they die, you hear a cork pop and then a bunch of little kids cheering.

One thing I hope they fix is the decoy guy you can send out.  It worked at first, but now theyre too easy to spot.  It should show a name above their head, because thats what gives them away

the name thing would be cool because then the FAKE DECOY that we have been throwing down would work more often.

instead of sending a hologram out you just run straight into a wall and keep running so the other team thinks you are a hologram then when they get close to you, turn and cap their asses. or if they walk past you then you ninja spin and animation assassinate them.

Hi, I just wanted to ask a quick question:

How do you play offline with friends and THEN add bots? I fiddled around with the menus for a while with my friends but we couldn't find the settings for bots (we were quite inebriated). The closest thing was the Fighter/Elite texture stuff.

If anyone can help it's much appreciated.

me and my friend were screwing around in forge and it got really funny after like 5 min. I'm gonna try and build a railgun that shoots tanks or other large objects.

No bots, halo never has them, the only way to get them is by playing Halo Custom Edition for the computer then downloading the maps people have created AI for. As for everyone saying you can beat it in a sitting it depends on the difficulty, if you can run through legendary solo in a sitting you're a champion.

One downside of this game Elite Slayer, Fuck elites, I play halo to be a giant biologically enhanced super soldier not a stupid fucking alien that a I spent most of my time killing in OG Halo.

Oh man, that sucks. We kind of got tired of being killed over and over by experts (might be because the account we played with had the highest ranks available, if that levers into the matchmaking).

I did get a quintuple kill though! Flew a human heli straight into a group of team campers by accident.
