how to shrink pics?

What format are they in? bmps and tiffs are huge. Use jpgs. Aside from that, you can just use scale in photoshop, but it can mess up the pic. So there isn't that much you can do, really.

no, you can use photoshop if you do the resizing with the image size option and set the constrain properties box

thanks guys, I've got it figured out now for the most part and I finally succeeded in uploading a picture. I'm retarded with computers though so I can't figure out how to post pics in the forums for the life of me. I know it tells you how to do it in the help section but I still don't understand. Anyone feel like explaining it to me?
