Replying to Skiing Economics

I know this is going to end up dying postless or being a bunch of memes and such but I figured I would try anyways. I'm trying to think of an idea for an economics paper relating to skiing. This isn't homework and it can be as big or abstract as you want. I'm just trying to get started brainstorming. I'm going to work on the paper in my free time for the next year maybe two since it will probably take some time to find/dig through data.

Post up if you can think of any interesting and/or research worthy way to connect economics and skiing. I keep coming back to examining ski hill externalities and stuff but am trying to think of something more exciting.
