Hey any girl skiers from around the Mammoth area want to be my groups token female skier, maybe learn some shit?

I've always said it would be sick to have a token girl skier, I'm jealous of those who have actually had one in their group. Also, in general I'd take a snowborder chick over a skier chick. Unless skier chicks ride park or epic pow they are mostly just gapers, snowboarder chicks have a bit more edge to them IMO.

i am WAY more into guys who ski. Its like the one and only requirement i have to have in a guy. ironically Im dating a guy who doesnt ski. lets just say...winter is not the best..but i never let my relationship get in the way of skiing

god dammit why cant i meet chicks like you???

I have a mate who i ski with in whistler and she shreds pretty hard, just picked up a pair of vjjs too, i will be skiing with her again in 2 weeks so im stoked. unfortunately her bf is a snowboarder and just generally a boring person

hahaha, all these girl skiers have it so good....it's out of the ordinary for them to date a guy who doesn't ski, while its out of the ordinary for us to date a girl that does ski.

Yeah, for the most part I'm the same way. My ex was a skier-he and I started out skiing together all the time. Toward the end he pretty much quit skiing..and naturally I kept skiing all and every winter. Maybe that was part of the beginning of the end haha. Now I'm dating someone who snowboards and wants to get back into skiing....we will see how this goes. He already understands that I ski as often as possible ;)
And yes, I am totally the token girl skier in my crews-both my Tahoe people and my Davis people. But I am pretty competitive and certainly am not the groupie so that's good :)

When you say "around the Mammoth area" what exactly do you mean? Like June Mountain? Because I live in Big Bear and none of the skier guys here want a token skier chick because they hate being shown-up by a girl. The real question is, do you want to learn some shit? Unless you specifically live in Mammoth then yes, I am willing to learn.. The mammoth park is a little intimidating and no one there really messes around.

Do you ride June often? I never ski with any other girls around here (I live in Mammoth btw), but it would be nice to do so more often. I have been doing more in the park since it is early season and I really haven't started working yet.

Not often, I live in southern cali so it's a 5 hour drive to mammoth or june but I do get to ride up there occasionally. It would be great to meet some new ski chicks and get to take runs this year.

id be so down, but im nowhere close to mammoth. its weird how its like a different situation for me. im looking for guys to ski with and i have to result to snowboarders who are bums. the only reason they go with me is cus one of the guys likes me.
i just cant wait to leave this shit town and meet to people. i basically have to drag some of my friends to come with me. its stupid.
