it was my first time trying it last weekend..and..like after about 2 foot, i kept falling...any tips?

Being out there skiing every day, good or bad, just playing around with friends, with no contests or filming- that is the real spirit of skiing for me. that is why i started skiing, and if i lose those moments that is what will make me stop skiing.

Dont get gloves though, gloves are out. just use a cigarette to keep your hands warm.

practice on a box for a while. it is basically the same as going on forward. then bring it to a rail

when ur coming into it u want to be aligned with it... when i firs started i kept on coming into it from the side and it dodnt work

you have to be patient. if you try and pop too soon coming off the jump then you'll slide off the rail to one side. come at it straight on and wait till your feet - not the tails of your skis, but your feet - are at the lip of the jump, then pop and you won't slide off to the side after two feet. and practice.

^ that is unless the gap is small then pop earlier. it one of those 'get the feeling for' tricks. you just have to get it in yr brain then it's not hard at all.

umm if your trying to grind unnatural then learn unnatural regular first so you have the feeling then go switch and look over your regular shoulder and make sure you come up to the rail whjat seems to be in between your stance, jump up on and turn your body the 90 get on and get a lil forward at first b/c it might throw ya back
