What up guys I wanted to let you know about The Ski Channel's global premiere for The Story right here in Los Angeles on Oct. 28. Its actually happening in Hollywood at the famous Mann's Chinese Theater so it should be pretty epic. For sure one of the most prestigious locations possible to premiere a ski film, I was well impressed when I found out the location.
Local ski shops and related businesses are being invited, so its sure to be a party. I'm super stoked personally because we don't really see much as far as ski related events here in LA and Ski Dazzle this year isn't until December. It'll definitely be the pre-season event to attend. That coupled with well, the Mann Chinese Theater on Hollywood Boulevard, (where they do the fancy Hollywood premieres, ooooh shiny) makes for some pretty exciting stuff.
As for the film its got a lot of great action and some really interesting interviews with skiers like Bobby Brown, Eric Pollard, and Chris Benchetler so I'm excited to see it. Its got some gnarley base jumping and other sports in it too.
So yeah if you are in the LA area and fiending for some skiing you should for sure come check it out. Even if you are from somewhere else in CA it would make for a pretty rad Hollywood trip. Lots of fun stuff to do on Hollywood Blv, and actually there is an Oakley flagship store in the mall right next door to the theater (only place in LA i've found that carries like the PRS sweaters and the Dumont suit and stuff, really cool store).
