allright well i have the red rings on my 360 and my warrenty ran out. what can i do other than sending it in for a wopping 140? are there any other options? please help

search youtube for videos. I fixed one in 30 minutes. you need some nylon washers, screws, thermal paste, thermal paste remover (not necessary, but makes it way easier), and t10 and t8 torx screwdrivers.

cost me about $30 for tools and shit.

do not buy the new 4gb 360 slim...you cant play co op campaign or do a bunch of other stuff on halo reach without buying a separate 250gb hard drive for $130 because microsoft are a bunch of jew rats

buy a used/refurbished xbox from gamestop. my friend got one with all the wires, the xbox itself, a headset, and a wireless controller for like $140 a year or so ago and I know the price has dropped since then

Okay, I had the same problem, but my friend told me what I could do and suprise suprise it fucking worked O.o
You got to bind a towel around it so that it cannot cool down (close the cooler exit) Then you turn it on and wait until it overheats, it will shutdown itself when it does. When you have done that it should be running again. It sounds fucked up but it works! Atleast for some weeks
I've done it 4 times this far
