May be calling Okemo my home mountain this winter, due to factors beyond my control.
Read plenty on here about the park, but am more curious about the mountain as a whole. My park days are numbered due to shoulder injuries so all-mountain shit is my gig these days.
I've called Killington and Pico my home mountains the past 2 seasons and was kept entertained there. My concerns with calling Okemo my home mountain is that I will get tremendously bored skiing there. I've never skied there but it looks flat as shit and all the trails seem to be intermediate, wide boulevards that are groomed edge to edge.
Give me the straight up. Are there good trees and glades? Areas with pitch and interesting terrain features? Good areas for storm days?
Thanks for your candor guys!
