Heading out west this february. which mountains are the best for their pow, bowls, and park?
Definitely this or go to Jackson Hole WY got some nasty bowls, pow, cliffs, glades and their park has some pretty decent sized jumps and a few rails oh they have a sweet pipe me and my friends would just hike it at 4 when all the lifts were down and nobody noticed or cared
Back bowls in vail on a quiet day, so much fun! Breck and keystone are good for park, was disappointed with Beaver Creek though, didn't seem like much space to the ski area and the park wasn't great... but last time i went there was so much pow! I skied the super g run there in about 2 feet of fresh pow pow... was epic! :)
I love breck. there park is insane, they have plenty of bowls, steeps, chutes etc. try lake chutes, snow white, and windows. pow is light and fluffy but you wont be seeing alot of it if there wasnt a recent storm. the biggest flaw is that there are not very many big cliffs, so if ur lookin for air, stay in the park
along with this, breck gets skied off faster than anywhere, there are a few stashes that stay good, but people tend to keep them secret, if you don't get a storm while you are there, no pow for you.
Well it's a la nina year so your best bet is probably to go somewhere in the PNW. Baker if you want a lot of powder and BC and maybe hood for a little mix of park and pow.
definitely hit up alta/ snowbird. went to the bird the beginning of may after it got 7 feet of freshis in 5 days. thats what it does in may- february is crazzzy deep. and PC or the canyons for the park
