have you never heard of a djm800 or any mixer by allen and heath? they can do layers and loops no problem.
Don't get me wrong, since I stopped actually playing out and only do parties now, I have been using ableton and sold my decks. but nobody is going to take you seriously if you play ableton instead of the traditional methods. trust me on that. and stop calling yourself a DJ if you use ableton, you aren't DJing, you are just playing/mixing songs. you don't use anything with Discs involved.
