Baller right, definitely better than the other ads that have been up recently. I thought it was ironic though because they cost quite a bit of money none of which we have because we're all skiers. I'm loving it though. Porsche or Suby now I'm stuck.

i dont like the adds are the ones that extend down and block everything that your looking at unless you click the tiny X in the corner. :(

During 1983 the 928S was the fastest car sold in North America, with a top speed of 146 mph (235 km/h). Incidentally, its appearance in the 1983 film Risky Business attempted to capitalize on this fact.

I have no real knowledge of porsche but i have heard that everything is expensive. Even an oil change because of the filter...*DISCLAIMER i have no facts to base this on, only rumors.

its really not as slow as you think. i mean, 7 seconds isnt a rocketship, but its not slow either.

i would buy it. then tell every woman i met that i drive a Porsche.

my grandpa used to have a sweet red porsche 911, I believe a 1982 911T. It was still running, and in pretty good condition, and he sold it to my cousin for $800 a few years ago (he didn't want to make him pay cuz family). My cousin works on cars, so now he prbly has a sweet full restore 911. my mom was mad when she found out he sold it so cheap, cuz she would of bought it from him (her dad), but he said it was too dangerous. the 911 has always been my favorite car, but i know that i'll be hard pressed to be able to afford any porsche in the next few years. after college we will see

anyone thats even remotely serious when making that comparison should IMO have their head examined.

personally i like the 5 series beemers, audi 6s, and the new Saab is baller too, i think its the 9-5

Huh thats slower than my car, I'm kind of shocked.

Also I know a guy with 2 of those and he say he has to boost the octane of his gas or they don't work right.

Yeah I have a faster start (by .1 second, but still) in a 2.0L 4 banger haha. And my car probably weighs more.

Seriously though I think you might have to octane boost for those I would definitely look in to it. Because obviously thats really annoying to have to do.

you're a god damn retard to get a 236 hp 4.7l v8 just because it says porsche.

that porsche is garbage, about as ugly as a 996.

It was 1982.

for comparison, the 82 Ferrari 308 GTS made only 305 hp and ran a 7.3 second 0-60 with their (albeit smaller) 2.9 liter V8. Engines simply were not nearly as efficient back then as they are now.

my jeep grand Cherokee has the same size engine. but the 0-60 is around 15 seconds talk about under powered...... it could be due to the 4 inch lift and big tires............

Well the thing is I already have my own Porsche...1984 944 what uppp. 928's are very well known for their high maintenance though so if I were you I would steer towards (pun intended) a 944 or a 951(944 turbo). This was the newer version of the 924 where they fixed multiple issues experienced in the 924's.

as a 951 S owner, I'll second this notion.

the 928 is a boat anyways. (a big sexy boat)
you'll have more fun in a 944 (with potentially fewer issues)

928 is a lead sled. its heavy and fast for going straight with no speed limit in germany. get a smaller car... like a 944, 951, or 968. i have a 1992 968

its a really fun car, cheap, fast, and handles better then most cars on the road.
i bought it for 7500.
unless the 928 is like 3k then dont get it. cause you can get a 944 for that much.

and if you can get an 87 or newer they made a couple changes making them even more reliable. I auto-x in my 944 and its a blast, I picked mine up for $2700 with 82,000 original miles as well. craigslist them you'll be surprised.

i dunno, shes heavy but 400hp and 4.10s might not be the worst setup ever.
