Need your (any web designers?) opinions on some website concepts

I'm an amateur graphic designer and I'd like some feedback on how possible these website concepts are to take to reality.

The Sunnyside Media Group one is a concept for now, but it's part of a venture with some of my photographer, videographer, artist and designer friends, focusing on young, local talent. I just drew up this concept without really thinking about feasibility, but would you say that it's simple enough that it should work without too much effort?

The second one is for the Student Sustainability Committee at our school. I used a Wordpress website as reference, so there might be some parts that wouldn't work but it should be reasonably do-able on Wordpress.

Thoughts?

I would say that if you used flash in both websites they would be alot more difficult to produce, however if you stay simple with HTML and fireworks, the sites may not function in a way that would add to the website's feel. Both are definitely ill and you could make both work really well.

I like them both but now the hard part comes. Making the site look as good as the outline.

Snowcase, Exactly. Thing is, I'm a graphic designer and don't know shit all about building the actual websites part. I'm looking for someone with skills on that side of things right now so I can collaborate and do the designing aspect of it.

Ive been working for 3 years for web design companies so pm if u want development & hosting, i can probs do $100-200, maybe a little more for a custom cms

It'd be great if there was a portfolio I could take a look at. $100-200 is quite low, are you sure you didn't miss a zero anywhere?

There are a lot of great tutorials on how to make your own website, I just used Google a lot for my questions I had and I ended up with a nice website in a couple months.

Price is low cause I don't have to do any design and I'm still a student. Also I don't do a ton of solo work. Here's two sites that are work in progresses:
