Any area, based on your perspective in life, is full of douche bags. It is up to you to acknowledge and ignore them or let them get to you. You are comparing to ski towns that have a similar vibe, however, they are in states that are totally different from one another. I have lived in Summit County for the passed 4 years and I personally think there are more "career" long distance opportunities in the state of Colorado compared to Utah especially in the tourism industry. Colorado is an overall more populated state therefore it will be more crowded than Utah in every aspect. If you are REALLY interested it is up to you to do the research and it sounds like you are on the right track. PC argueably has better access to backcountry and overall big mtn skiing in the area compared to Summit County. However, Summit County has one of the longest seasons in the world, there are GREAT people here, and if you are good the county and keep a good reputation, it will be good to you. Keep asking questions about both places and research each area to the fullest.
go to hood
the best thing about mormons is they keep stupid narrowminded intolerant people from moving here.
If it weren't for mormons the damn Collins lineup would be into the GMD lot.
There is no 420 shortage only stupid people get busted.
We moved to Ut because you can afford to own a house 20 minutes from 4 world class resorts and outstanding bc terrain and still be a skibum.
It is more centrally located to cool stuff I can easily road trip 1 hour 4 beer/booze and stock my fridge.
Try road tripping from colorado and stocking your fridge with 200+" of snow.
I'd offer more but if you move here that'd be on more car lined up waiting for the lcc to open
Pay cheap rent and still be a skibum- i'd rather have a sick place at the base of the mtn with a sick job and still ski a lot.....
I do not want to get pulled over with beer from another state and get arrested.
I enjoy the company of GILFS however I want to go after a girl that isnt engaged, married, or inbred.
I love visiting the state of Utah and I will keep visiting it. It is a great state to visit for skiing. Love visiting Utah.
The beer tastes terrible.
I like having selection of liquor and beer all over the place instead of just one specific liquor store.
I do not smoke weed but getting caught with a gram and getting arrested is fucked up.
Only place in the country ive hung with young people on a saturday nite and no one was drinking/smoking/doing anything remotely fun.
I do appreciate the Clown School and Vinny and Cardoza know whats up.
The snow is better cause less people are there- this is true- and Powder Mtn is the greatest fuckin mtn ever.
PC's got a great crew and a good following in their parks. Breck and Keystone's crew needs to stop being douschbags, however, Breck town is better than PC.
Denver nightlight compared to SLC is a joke. Don't even go there.
More BC? Yes I will give you that.
More available and attractive girls? No, I will not give you that.
Better weed? I have no idea, though Breck is medically approved and no one seriously gives a shit anymore
Vegas is closer, however,I have gambling problem.
But our season is longer.
Cheaper cost of living- YES if you dont have a job, NO because there are great jobs here BECAUSE there are more people here.
Rockies and Broncos = AWESOME, the Jazz = seriously who cares?
PC parks = kickass, however, Breck parks, Keystone parks, Early/Late season Abay parks, Copper Parks, Aspen parks, Echo parks, Winter Park parks = all kickasssss.
We have the Xgames, you have ? Oh thats right the World Freeskiing Championships...cool.
My car sucks it probably would not have made it to Utah.
Are your liquor stores open on Sundays? Well ours are.
Bottom line is..... I will stay in Colorado. Thank you. :)
