I personally think the posts these days are so stupid and nobody posts anything intelligent anymore. I think the mods keep banning the most interesting people who posted on newschoolers and all thats left these days are retards and socialists.

anyways not to single out the mods but i would just give them a little advice to stop banning the people who make this place interesting. Like really mods, your not helping yourselves.

for a while I slowed down, I posted legitimate stuff, and tried to convince others to. Nothing happened because of it, and I took more and more shit that I wasn't responsible for. I'm the name that represents every post whoring 4channing middle school cunt, and that's not who I am. But I still take the shit for it. So instead of sitting there trying to do something for a website I thought I could help but couldn't, I might as well just join with the rest of it until something is actually fixed. This forum blows compared to others, and quite frankly I'm on here much less now because it frustrates me too much.

Honestly, there's alot of stupid bullshit that goes on, but you have to admit - it's funny.

I come on here to be entertained, and that's what happens.

Sheep fad was/is retarded, but it's still funny to see everyone's different sheep.

That dude that follows methtime around with the same icon is really fucking annoying, I'm sure, but I laugh every time I see him post.

Ever since I've been on this website (not that long) NSG has been a shit show. Every summer people complain about how this summer is so bad and that last summer was so much more legit. It's going to be the same next summer but people are going to complain that this year or the year before were better. Get over it, most of the stuff is pretty entertaining and if you really don't like it don't come here anymore.

guys, its fucking NSG. its "non ski gabber" technically, the forum is going great. nobody is talking about any skiing in NSG.

theres no reason to make an alias and create a thread that will only spawn more jokes and trolling. we will all chill out when it starts to snow. i feel like everyone keeps it serious in other forums, i know i do, so as long as none of this crops up anywhere important we should be fine.

This site used to be amazing. The tone of NSG has definitely changed over the years. It did have its own flavor of originality and good discourse, but as of late its become shitty 4chan memes, trolls and douchebags. The fact is though, NSG is what you guys make it. As long as it doesnt have tits or ass, I usually dont delete it. If you guys want something more serious, start a serious thread. If you're sick of trolls, then dont troll and ignore troll threads (or PM a mod. We ban aliases... and speaking of, thread creator is banned.

Not a bad idea. People get fed up with the shit and it slowly stops.

But I find it all really entertaining so it's no big deal. NSG is the only place that really sucks anyway.

you can't really ban someone for acting stupid, but they do delete a lot of stupid threads, and ban those who are really out of line. the whole problem is no one's really putting their foot down on what behavior is good or bad. i mean there's some things that happen to encourage change, but it's really not entirely on them to make this site great, it's more so on the 100,000 members to make this website better for everyone else and themselves. if stupidity is discouraged, people wouldn't act stupid as often. stupid shit would still happen, but there'd be a ton less, and if people frowned upon it... well then people would get the point. that ultimately would probably cut down the stupid shit to 1/4 of the problem that it is.

The only people saying, "it's funny," or "it's not that bad," are the ones that haven't been here for any real amount of time, and are likely part of the problem. There's a definite trend here - all the "old" members are the ones realizing this place has gone to shit with the trolls and 4chan memes, because these are the people that remember what a fun and entertaining place it can be without all fucktards.

However, like Rowen said, this place is what we make it. When it's overrun with trolls and useless fucks spouting memes and post whoring (I'm looking at you, 1337.), then it's going to suck. Be part of the problem, or part of the solution.

ive been here since 07. I can remember when it wasn't awful, but it gets bad during summer.

It comes back in the winter. This happens ever year, people just need to learn to wait it out.

And without all that shit, it would be kind of boring in the summer anyways.

I wouldn't mind having it all go away, but I also don't mind it being here.

hey its me the thread creator. to the mods that read this please read to the end of what i say here before u push the ban button. im not an alias and i wasnt when i was "ns.worst.member2". before that i was banned because i got mad at arabian for saying he wanted to stab white people because dont ask dont tell was not repealed. the mods banned me again for making this thread, calling me an alias. im not really an alias if i dont have another ns name now am I. Rowen the socialist mod, who i believe is just one of many has banned people unfairly multiple times because they have shown dislike of socialism. i dont think the mods are too fair around here. I mean if i was pointing and clicking for 10 dollars a day i would probably become a socialist too, hoping that i would somehow make a decent salary for sitting online looking for cool people to ban. but in reality if i were a mod i would probably quit realizing im not a teenager anymore its time to get a real job that pays me enough that i appreciate capitalism
