Great day today saw some people i haven't seen in a while, the crowds weren't even bad at all, and sun was out for a good part of the day. Parks sick no jumps though. the flat down flat rail was good at the begging of the day, and later it got sticky and i ate shit on it.

That's was funny because the TC Crew hiked it, then everyone started hiking it and then everyone started hiking everything. Yesterday was pretty fun, you missed out if you weren't there. Even outside the park we had a ton of fun.

I was talking about after the TC crew left later in the day the rail started catching, but today the park was pretty fun. The boxes are staring to rip my edges out of my skis.

Or, they haven't been used much this season.

Use and temperature have a lot to do with it too. I didn't catch on any box/rail all day today, but the busy times certainly change that.

Steel, when rapidly heated (by grinding) and then cooled (by hitting the snow), becomes brittle. Not so strange that sliding over metal on your skis is causing bits of edge to fall out.

I love stevens, but thats my only quelm about the park. They don't use real coping on their boxes, just thin weird sheet metal or nothing at all leaving the HDPE to chip on the edges. It is pretty inconsistent and at time very grabby. Why not just use round bar like everyone else?

Agreed! A little more variety would be nice in the rails instead of 10 ft wide metal flat rail after 10 ft wide metal flat rail. I had a great time skiing the park none the less.
