I tried to pass an undercover cop going like 95. He flashed his lights as I was creeping up so I def. slowed down and did not pass haha. But the damn cop was going like 90, and we were going down a hill.

A lot of the cops near me drive the new Charger and speed everywhere.  It pisses me off when I'm on a two lane 35 mph road doing about 40 and a cop just blows by me.  If I was going that fast I'd be fucked.  Happens ALL the time now.

For what it's worth, I'm a good driver and have never been pulled over in 6+ years of driving.  My advice: only speed on the highway, and know where the cops hang out.  Don't be that stereotypical teenager doing 30 over in a neighborhood/city.

got a 105 in a 55 like 2 months after i got my license. definitely funny looking back on it, but i thought i was gonna get arrested at the time haha. got lowered to 71 and i now have like 1 point or something.

good job speeding, but bad job funding the police.

seriously, speeding is not bad in the right place, yeah speeding in a neighborhood or school zone is bad. but on a highway, mountain or county road is not. something like 12% of all accidents are speed related, the autobahn has a lower percent of accidents and deaths every year compared to us highways. Montana's accident and death rates went up a lot when they started adding speed limits to stretches of highway that used to not have a speed limit.

i know these northern ohio roads too well, we did 215 in the lambo on one of those stretches. fastest ive ever gotten ticketed at was 176 on my bike, i didnt realize that i passed 3 parked cops (trap) and one was on radar and one was on laser. anyways to make a long story short i didnt realize i was actually being chased, i pulled off for gas and a bathroom break and as i was leaving the gas station i was surrounded by 15 cop cars from the 4 neighboring cities that i blew through.

i passed a NY state trooper going 80 in a 55. he just watched me go by and quickly scurry off the closest exit and hide. i then got lost because i didnt know where i was when i got off at the exit. didnt get pulled over though :)

yep, i probably shouldnt say this on here because ill probably get e-raped for "bragging" but i have ran from the cops numerous times in the RS4 and M5. one time i was coming down a mellow hill and there was a concrete barrier wall highway divider with a cop on the other side that had a car pulled over, cop was at the guys window and i could clearly see him, dropped a gear, and ran it up to 180. i can only imagine the cops expression because that gallardo was louuud at wot.

and for anybody that would like to criticize me for what i have done, save it, ive done many dumbass things involving motorized vehicles in the past and im proud to say i havent gotten a ticket in the last 2 years, def learned my lesson after 30+ tickets lol.

I probably paid close to $1,500 to the municipalities of Western New York from when I was 18-22. Then I learned my lesson and have not been pulled over a single time in about 3 years.

where do you go to school?

theres a road by where i live called county line rd, its well known for being a tight 2 lane (more like a fat 1 lane) with alot of ups and downs and turns.... pretty much an asphalt rally course. ive been driving this road since i was 15 and know it pretty well, it was always fun to drive it, but even better when a cop pulled out me a few times for literally just going 5-10 mph over, it wasn't even fair, i was in a 500hp sports car, and they were driving a silly durango what were they thinking? lol but they knew all along it was me, but they would never do anything about it, like they knew where i lived and everything ( i live in a fairly small community.) and im surprised to say this but after all i have put our local cops through, we are on good terms.

haha shit, i was just at miami like two weeks ago. my buddy lives right behind stadium and is the bouncer there. so we drank for free all weekend, and smoked some of the bombest ganj. always a good time at miami, maybe ill run into you there sometime

do the math.
how much time do you gain by speeding? the only 'legit' reason to speed, is when you have managed your time poorly, and are late for a prior engagement.
even on 500 mile plus road trips, avg 20-30 mph over the posted speed limit will save you less than an hour. Think about it, is the 'extra' time saved really worth the hassle of possible speeding tickets, or not to mention the extra wear and tear on your vehicle?

ha thats sick, this kid who is a few years older than me who ive chilled with a few times started out with a laguna seca blue M3 as his DD, and now has about 13 different exotic cars in which he rents out, he brought a gallardo to my house a few years back, that was fun as hell

just thought i would claim this here..

mid summer i got pulled over on the road rye airfield is on in NH (rye airfield lane) a 15mph
its basically rye's driveway cause it goes to nothing else. but its dead straight. so a bunch of my friends were sitting in the parkinglot and i was too busy watching them to see the cop sitting to the side of the road. i dropped grears and took off. hit 65 before i saw blues.
cop told me to keep it slow, or find a different private speedway.

sparknotes:

got pulled over for quadrupling the speed limit. cop laughed at me and told me to slow down.

i can understand some speeding, but 106? come on, what reason do you have to be going that fast?

I try to stay within 10mph of the limit, though sometimes on the highway i make my way up to 80 or so. And on some local roads I go a bit faster, but only if i know them extremely well. Like the road towards my highschool. I've driven it hundreds of times because i used to take it everyday, and i still take it frequently, so i know the road very well.

106 on a long straight stretch of highway is nothing, ill cruise at 100-110 for 20 minutes straight on a stretch of highway around here where i know there are no cops and only 1 exit. never had any close call's plus since most people are going around 80-85 your not going that much faster. whats much much more dangerous is the dumbass in the left lane going 5 under spacing the fuck out.
