Does anyone here work for Apple?

I applied for Apple and everything was good..  Then I get a call saying I did not pass my background check.  Are they more strict then others?  I have never had this issue with any other employer.    I was wondering if anyone knew the process.

They found out he has been on newschoolers/is a member of newschoolers. You should be arrested in 4-6 business days.

I work for an Apple call centre here in Canada troubleshooting iPods, and we had a background check to go through as well. Not much I can tell you, not sure how they do it or what sort of position you're applying for. However, I have a clean criminal record and driving record, so it wasn't really a big deal for me. Maybe call them and see if they'll tell you what they found.

What problem did they run in to during the background check? Unless you've committed a felony, or have a nice slew of misdemeanors, then you shouldn't have any problems. Did you lie on your application? Did they ask if you've ever been committed of a crime, or did they ask if you've ever been convicted of a felony?

They should release the information to you so you can investigate it. Maybe someone has the same name as you and that's what was flagged during the background check? The possibilities are endless...
