Should this belong in Media and Arts, yeah, but NS needs to see this

I just got back from their concert, and it got me thinking.....

They are pretty good band, and on here, it seems that no one listens to rock anymore, just techno and rap, which is fine, but to anyone on here who is too young to appreciate deftones, please listen

Saw them last year and used to listen to them a ton. They're a great band.

gay ass video image, but raw as fuck band! Seen Chino (the lead singer) jump off a 18 foot speaker into the crowd right before he started the chorus on seven words back in like 97' at the Memorial Auditorium in Sactown, deftones' home town. Still the dopest shit I ever seen at a live show. Crowd straight caught him.

For my contribution, the video for engine #9 off the album adrenaline. Shit made me go hyphy before the word was even made up.

Yeah, the only other video without the gay image couldn't be embedded so whatever, but yeah, last night Chino was amazing, like falling into the crowd face first while singing, but not from 18 feet up, more like 2, but still one of the better shows I've ever been to

I use to listen to the Deftones all the time, then I got old and my angry teenage hormones went away along with a good portion of rage. Still a legit band but I have to be in the right mood to listen to someone yell at me.

Haha true true, but some of their newer stuff isn't as much yelling, considering Chino is what almost 40?

first 3 albums were gold.

then they came out with this minerva crap and i dunno. havent paid much attention since then.

but yeah in terms of the first 3 cd's. they are awesome. my own summer, 7 words, and so on...

if only more bands were like....the deftones (in their first 3 cds). i would listen to rock more.
