And i'm gonna go ahead and say that if anyone does this, do not do it at Fenway. Most parks these days (read: baltimore) essentially let you run your course and do your thing before going out, and escorting you back in. Very few will fuck you up. But fenway is one of those few. When you're finally done getting your ass kicked on the field, your night has really just begun. And it doesn't get any better from there on.

oh, and if you were to do it, for your own sake, do it any day but friday. You see, if they put you in jail on a tuesday, the courts are open wednesday and you get out. You do it on a friday though, and you will be there until monday.

the most common penalty (without being too specific) is a huge fine (talking upwards of 10k) on top of what the police/courts give you, and in a lot of cases, you will not find yourself going to many more baseball games for a very, very long time.

no, running on the field is stupid to begin with. but doing it to get press for a website? hopefully if someone is stupid enough to do this they get tased or their ass beaten by cops/security and sit in jail for a few days.

haha nah. not worth losing my job. An NS shirt has been on the field at fenway though (I wore mine under my work shirt countless times, so technically, its been all over the place)

and there are some NS stickers hidden around fenway. But i'm not telling where...

finding all of them requires essentially unrestricted access to fenway. There are some in places fans can't get to.

I did it at a college football game. Its criminal trespassing, usually just a violation. I got a $150 dollar fine and that was it.

there are no trespassing laws in B.C score. so they just have to ask you to leave and it only becomes criminal if you refuse to do so. Or at least thats my understanding.

oh trust me, they are in places you would never be able to get to, despite being sneaky. Theres even 1 in a place that I had to sneak into. And if the security people have to sneak in, you know its gotta be good.

O have always wondered on what grounds can they fine you. You are essentially just running on a field. No harm done, im pretty sure your not trespassing. So what is the reason?

I don't remember the whole thing, but you are trespassing. Its the same reason we're able to toss you out for seemingly no reason. (never happens, and we always explain why you're being ejected, but we can do it randomly)

The stadium is private property.

So for example, the city of boston does not own fenway park. During a game, they technically don't even own yawkey way, despite it being a city street. (the sox lease it out for each game, now stop smoking out there) The red sox own the park as well as the team, and they graciously grant you entry for a fee. This is buying a ticket. And when you buy the ticket, in fine print on the back, it gives you the rules, which includes that as fans, you have limited access to the park, we can eject you, etc etc etc and by entering the park, you agree to these rules. You break the rules, we toss you out. But we do also fall under the jurisdiction of the BPD, so if they so choose, they can take control of fans from us. (also known as being arrested)
