Alright, so I'm buying my first car in a few months and I need some advice on what is durable, safe, and reliable in bad conditions. To start off my price range is from $400-$2000, I'm looking for an older car(70s-present) preferably a station wagon so I don't have to worry about a ski rack. Insurance is not an issue I have the money for the next 4 years at least. I know that when you're buying a used car it really comes down to what people are selling in your area but to know some reliable models would be useful for sure. Just for reference(not that it matters) I'm 16. Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

That would be an ideal car, but I'm not sure about the mileage and it's not really in my price range.

anything but a volkswagen. and im serious. i bought mine for 3800$ and have put almost 4000$ of repairs into it. (granted, ive had it for 3 years) and im not talking about tinting windows or putting in sound systems, that stuff is pointless. im talking about keeping it on the road. i hate my car, it still runs like crap.

get a toyota 4runner or tacoma. or an older suby wagon. toyota & subaru are probably your most reliable options as far as older vehicles go
All times are Eastern (-5)
