I know there are a bunch of skiers in this area. Why don't any shops/companies try to increase their exposure here?

Because there arent any decent Mountains around here.
It sucks having to buy everything online.

there is a great ski swap/ tent sale in bedford hills. if you live in the city, you can take the train up here, the ski shop is walking distance from the train station
