i think i heard this before ut im not sure. can u melt down ur bases and put a sticker on the melted down area then re wax them or something

What you do is leave the iron on the base for about 20mins on med-high heat. The base will soften and separate from the core. At this point you will want to peel the base material off, be careful not to take any fiberglass with it. Place your sticker directly to the exposed core material. Take a clear ski specific wax, and iron the entire base. Scrape off excess wax. Viola!

u can try it but if u dont want to wreck ur bases i wouldnt. cause there are tiny pores in ur bases that absorb the wax and if u leaves an iron on them for to long the will melt and u wont have wax on that spot. just saying. would liketo see result of u doing it thou

no u can cut out ur bases and them put a stick then redo the base with clear ptex so u can see the sticker

you dont want to damage the base, as that's what's going to keep you moving. you want to cut in from the topsheet and through the core, remove the material, put stickers on the underside of the base, then epoxy it all back together

only two ways you're gonna get some sort of print on your base:

1 cut out a stencil in your basematerial then fil it up with basematerial in a different color, then stonegrind ....


or cut out a chunk of base until you reach underlying material, remove it, put a sticker on there, then clear epoxy a clear piece of ptex on there.....

only 2 ways i can think of that "might" work...

and both will most likely fuck your ski up....
