Ski Sundown 10/11 Season

With rail jam season starting this Saturday at Avon Day, I think it's time to start this. There are some big plans for this season in the works at Sundown, so let's discuss here (instead of last years thread...)

BTW, here's the list of the upcoming rail jams Sundown is putting on:
Avon Day - 9/25 @12pm
Suburban Sports / Meatheads - 10/2
Sun and Ski, Avon, ct - 10/9
Outdoor Sports - 11/6
Colorado Ski Shop - 11/13
Simsbury Celebrates - 11/27 @ 4pm

32 is set up as a flat rail again... pretty much same as it was.   brendan and ted are trying to get skirting fixed up on it then it'll be open

Working on the Ski Sundown stop for the CO Tour right now.  The date is 2/26 for Sundown and winners will advance to the finals at Jiminy Peak during March! Ski and Snowboard categories

No im not transferring but we have an awesome teacher that says he's leaving and going to Hall next year, so if you have the chance to take his classi  would because he's fucking hilarious and just makes fun of kids all the time. He told one class that he wrote letters to the head of taco bell about random shit, and stories he made up so much that they gave him a 200$ gift card to stop, and today he had us write down our favorite bands so he  could make fun of the kids listening to Kanye west and Lil wayne and crap like that

Everyone can thank Keegan for that next time they see him, he reminded us that we had better before, and now it's (in my opinion) even better than that.

So you guys took out the Lift tower rail and the S rail and put the 32 there instead.  What else went in, tough to tell from the video?  Is everything above the urban down rail still the same?

Lift tower is now on Tom's (it went there to replace the broken flat box). Big Red is where the left tower was (that's what's in the video).

Tube is...or will end up being urban, the pile got put weird but will eventually work it's way to an urban (it is setup as a down rail).

I've been in Connecticut for the past 8 years and miss my Vermont skiing life very much.  so when there is freshies to be had, and I have the decision... we ski powder.  Sorry kiddies.

haha yeah... i was just trying to contemplate a way to avoid ruts from forming... what if you put, instead of flat after a feature, a lump of snow. And everytime someone lands on said lump, it gets smaller, until it's eventually flat ground, and then theres no rut!

ruts where?  after the fat boxes where every single little kid straight skis over and lands tips first for 13 hours a day?  yea....

this is exactly the situation where you guys have gotten much better over the years at choosing your features and choosing your days.  There's not much you can do to fix those with a shovel and the park guy usually has to close the box for snow catting.  Thanks for not rioting.  \

In other news, Colorado Ski Shop's Slopestyle is almost upon us and we have a really cool feature to put in the course.  and if B-walms, eric or Evan lets this out i'll sell their skis on ebay.

Umm.

Huge hole after the rainbow box so you'd have to skip it to hit the jumparoo. Rut onto the canon where i ate SHIT going on because it threw me off, etc.

Probably gonna change it, the comps are usually on the left where big red and the 32 are and so on, but keep these jumps as they are, please no crazy step ups like last year!
