Could not agree more.

You should all watch the television serie "City of Men". It's the same thing, but it is a serie of about two boys living in the favela. Same producers and stuff.

There is also a movie called "City of Men", but I reccomend you to watch the television series first!

Both City of Men and City of God is great, love this films!

This movie is amazing. You always know that there's messed up shit going on in the world, but when I saw this movie it became a lot more real to me.

^^basically it's based on a true story of two boys growing up in the brazilian slums of rio throughout the 1960s-1980s, and their lives involved in gang violence and drugs, and etc.

the book is good too.
