Old Line Prophet 80s, '06 or '07 I think, with no bindings because my shitty salomon ones broke. heelpiece snapped right off while I was skiing.
Yeah the carbon- nanotech construction is really expensive....but the weakness in carbon skis is the remount. Carbon skis should be mounted once because although it is a intricate construction, the ski can only take one (unlike good wood skis that can take three) and the carbon although strong, like F1 car strong, but once damaged or drilled twice it can fail catastrophically....but that is just what I have warned about used Pure (although it does make sense... think nano tech carbon fiber handlebars, once overtorqued or scratched hard).
I definately know why you jumped on the deal, it is hard to find Dps Pure second hand because people keep them for life, but when they do go up for sale it is often because the owner wants to remount.....just a though, don't want to put out your stoke, but....
Well if you are satisfied then good for you....disregarding the double remount, I have seen pristine Pure lotus sold for $425 and I ahve also seen them with solly bindings for 700 (also good condition), so if you are comfortable with the double remount (I guess now triple eh?) then you got a good price. Sorry for the doubt, keep the stoke alive bro.
