What outerwear to get?

I'm going to buy a new jacket and new pants this season. I want to go black jacket and red pants but that's just an idea. Does anybody have any good suggestions? My budget is like $200 but $250 at the most.

just go a local shop during a sale, they usually have tons of XL in stock and its cheap
i got black sessions pants for 45, and a sick ride jacket for 70(i know snowboard)
