Yeah, if you're going to do it at least make the photo benefit from the effect. 99% of the post tilts I've seen do absolutely nothing for the photo except make it look absolutely contrived and unbelievably tacky. Just because it looks neat at first doesn't mean you didn't ruin the photo (you guys are totally welcome to take offense to this).

I use tilts all the time when I'm shooting 4x5 portraits, but it is always to emphasize something I feel is important in the photo. I don't do it to make my photos look like hobby store models, I use it to bring the viewer into the the photo. I could rant on and on about all the shitty, poorly-executed PS filters there are now, but I'll just end it here for the time being.
Maybe I'm just pissy today.
