that cliff in that video is actually pretty decent size, its a lot bigger and sketchier without much snow, ive never hit it on a powder day though. It on the A-B slope.
The best glades ive ever skied in vermont is at Pico, its in the woods to the skiers left of the "poma", the unofficial trail name of that skinny steep chute next to giant killer, I guess there use to be a poma going up that back in the day. The "Poma" is actually pretty fun on a powder day, its get pretty hairy though. Anyways if your on top go the "poma" head skiers left into the woods and it opens up into the perfect glades, widely spaced birch trees with a perfect pitch. Make sure you cut back right though, you dont want to get stuck in the woods.
Also, theres a decent size cliff in the woods in the Out Post chair area.
Theres also a hut on upper pike, and whens theres enough snow, the cats usually build a convenient lip up onto the hut with a little gap between the lip and roof. Then you can jump back onto the trail from the roof with a nice 10 foot drop, the landings not that steep though.
