I'm down with The North Face. I wear a lot of their products and they make bomber, comfortable products. They dropped in quality after Douglas Tompkins sold it to buy a massive amount of land in Patagonia. But its still a legit company. even tho thousands of clueless college girls wear Denalis all year long, it doesnt mean its a poor company

I honestly believe Tom Wallisch is the only one who's sold out, which i think hes done so much.
He's sponsored by Verizon for god sakes. And then he left sweet outerwear for North Face. And its not like north face is that much more tech than sweet, i am pretty sure its because they're paying more.

Ever since TNF was bought out by Vanity Fair their quality has gone down in almost every article of clothing. TNF is a retarded brand that appeals to weak minds. They have an amazing team of athletes that I love to watch ski and climb, but those athletes only support suck a lame dick, mind rape company like Vanity Fair because they're paid to do so.

It's not selling out, it's his fucking job. I don't think Tom is gonna have much of a freeskiing career past 30...why should he stay with a company that can't pay him? Don't be an idiot....there's no such thing as "selling out".

Get what you can while you can as long as you're not compromising who you are.

600 fill is like the 1994 Hyundai Excel of down jackets. Instead of goose down it's probably like 2 pigeons and a chicken wing.  You can do better pretty easily.
